Juliana Yazbeck

Juliana Yazbeck was born in New Jersey, USA to Lebanese parents. She began studying music at age
5 when she enrolled in private piano lessons. At 6 she moved to Lebanon and continued her music
studies at the National Conservatory in Beirut until age 16 when she completed her entire music
course, specializing in classical piano. As a teenager, she began taking lead roles in local musicals
and, during her undergraduate years, she formed a band with fellow students called Banana
Sandwich, which went on to tour professionally around Lebanon.

Juliana has a BA in Fine Arts from the American University of Beirut and an MA in Performance
Making from Goldsmiths, University of London, both with Distinction. She is also an actress, model
and visual artist, and now lives in London.
